I've always enjoyed watching The Biggest Loser on TV.  I love seeing the accomplishments and transformations in these people's lives.  Those who lose hundreds of pounds and in turn improve and extend their lives because of it.  It's inspiring.

After Christmas, with my HMV gift certificate in hand, I went in search of a game for my Wii for strength training and conditioning as I'm cheap and don't want to shell out the dough for a gym membership.  After much deliberation, I walked out the door with The Biggest Loser Wii Challenge in my hand.  I'm not a big girl, but I liked the idea that the workouts could adjust to my needs as necessary and it had lots of variation to the routines.  I also liked how that you could do it without the Wii Balance Board if required because I sometimes forget to charge the batteries and don't want to get to use that as an excuse.

I definitely made the right decision.

Every day this week I have been cursing Jillian Michaels to the deepest pits of hell.  I swear at her when she makes me do push ups.  I stick my tongue out when she tells me to do tire runs.  I yell at her even when it is Bob on the screen, because in my mind, it's still her yelling at me and making my body hurt.

But it hurts in a good way. I can feel my muscles getting stronger beneath the burn.  I have no idea if my weight is going to change when I do a weigh in on Tuesday, but frankly, I don't care.  Because I'm going to have buns of steel :)
